The Jack and Laura Dangermond Preserve is a 24,000-acre protected coastal landscape near Lompoc, dedicated to conservation, research, and education. Access is currently limited to guided tours and pre-arranged scientific visits. It represents a significant effort to preserve the natural ecology of the Central Coast.
