La Purísima Mission is the most extensively restored of California's 21 missions, offering a living history experience on over 2,000 acres. Visitors can explore historic buildings, gardens, and trails while learning about the Chumash and Spanish colonial history. It is a state historic park located just outside of Los Alamos.
