Once you've had your fill of early afternoon tapas, weave your way over to Monterey Street to browse the thoughtfully curated, ethically sourced home goods and gifts at Humankind Fair Trade. It’s a wonderful shop to find a meaningful souvenir that directly supports global artisan communities.

Spread out a blanket on their Orcutt Road property, enjoy your market finds, and spend the afternoon soaking in the sun while tasting their elegant, estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with the volcanic hills as your backdrop.

This local brewery is making massive waves in the Central Coast beer scene with its incredibly innovative, hop-forward IPAs and experimental styles. The energy is always vibrant and buzzing with friendly locals.

It doubles as an art gallery, making it a quiet, creative sanctuary where you can browse a curated selection of literature and visual works. Finally, before hitting the highway, make one last stop at Bambu Batu on Broad Street. This entirely unique shop and gallery is dedicated to all things bamboo. It serves as a fascinating educational resource on sustainable living, and it's the absolute perfect place to pick up a beautiful, eco-friendly keepsake to remember your sun-drenched SLO weekend.
