What we're looking for

• Specific, actionable recommendations — real places with names and neighborhoods
• First-hand experience or deep local knowledge of a city or topic
• Original writing in your voice (we do not accept copied content)
• Topics tied to the Central Coast: Santa Barbara, Ventura, SLO, Ojai, Solvang, Lompoc, and surrounding communities

How it works

1. Email us a brief pitch — your topic, target city, and 3–5 places you'd highlight
2. Our editorial team reviews pitches and responds within a few business days
3. Approved contributors receive a simple outline; we help with formatting and fact-checking
4. Published guides credit you by name (or anonymously, if you prefer)
