The east-west transverse range allows the cool ocean fog to roll right into the vineyards, making it prime territory for stellar Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Just a 10-minute drive from the shoreline, Biddle Ranch Vineyard offers a beautifully rustic yet modern tasting room surrounded by working vines. It’s the perfect afternoon escape. Their scenic property on Orcutt Road has a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere, and their estate Pinot Noir is consistently one of the best expressions of the valley you can taste.
